The motivation behind the art is to seek the deeper meaning within the mythological stories passed from generation to generation. There is a need to compound and combine these tales, ideas and bring them into a modern day perspective. Through the use of surrealist imagery, human form and deliberate symbols that serve to tell the ‘story behind the story’.
